TORTWORTH COURT FOUR PILLARS HOTEL ****

This Grade II* listed Victorian mansion offers all the grandeur of an elegant Cotswolds hotel alongside the facilities of a premier four star hotel. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and tea and coffee making facilities.

Itinerary

SUNDAY This morning we make our way to Gloucestershire breaking for a late afternoon visit to Worcester with its magnificent cathedral rising above the River Severn. Later there will be time to settle into the hotel before dinner.
MONDAY Today we will visit historic Bath, a UNESCO world heritage site. There will be free time to explore The Roman Baths, The Royal Crescent and Circus or the many quaint arcades.
TUESDAY After breakfast we head to Cheltenham with free time before we join the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway for an early afternoon ride on the steam train through the beautiful countryside to Toddington. Upon arrival at Toddington station there will be time to see the locomotive yard or take refreshments at the Large Flag & Whistle tea room.
WEDNESDAY Today we enjoy a day in the Cotswolds. The drive is particularly scenic with rolling hillsides and century’s old dry stone walls framing what can only be described as quintessential England. The drive includes Bourton-on-the-Water, regularly voted as one of the prettiest villages in England and Stow-on-the-Wold, with its grand manors and quaint cottages.

THURSDAY After a leisurely breakfast we leave for the journey home with lunch en route and expect to arrive home during the late afternoon.
